Presented by Atelier des Atlas, this Aït Zayane wool henbel measures 280 × 160 cm. Its flatwoven burgundy field is crossed by white geometric bands and embellished with sequins that catch the light across the surface.

Design Vocabulary

Alternating narrow and broad bands carry interlocking angular forms, diamonds, and stepped lines. Open burgundy intervals give each patterned register its own space, while continuous geometric borders frame the long sides. The scattered sequins add a subtle glint without obscuring the woven design.
