From Atelier des Atlas, this Beni Ourain rug has a wool pile and a geometric composition that extends towards the edges of the field. A patterned woven end band and long ivory fringe finish the photographed short end.

Design Vocabulary

Intersecting diagonals connect diamonds of different sizes, creating movement across the rug rather than a repeated grid. The small coloured centres draw attention to individual forms within the larger composition.
