Provenance & Craft

From Atelier des Atlas, this handwoven Amazigh runner has a textured pile edged in pale pink. At the near short end, a broad pink woven band meets thick braided tassels in cream and blush.

Design Vocabulary

In the upper field, dark and cream outlines link small lozenges to elongated checked forms. A narrow band of mottled color separates this section from the coral-red field, where a green central line connects stepped crosses filled with ivory, blue, pink, and orange. Rows of small triangular forms flank the crosses.
