A narrow fuchsia stripe divides this 250 × 150 cm Boujaad wool rug into two unequal columns. Rows of short diagonal marks run across both sides at staggered heights, separating larger panels of red, ivory, orange, and violet.

Provenance & Craft

From Atelier des Atlas, this handwoven Amazigh rug has a textured wool pile. At the near short end, the pile meets a woven band striped in pink and lavender with a narrow cream edge. Short cream fringe is visible at the opposite end.

Design Vocabulary

Small flecks of green, pink, orange, and dark purple scatter across the ivory panel on the left. On the right, a cream zigzag crosses a violet panel above an orange field where slanting strokes branch from a dark upright line. Near the woven band, a blocky charcoal cross and a pink hourglass stand out against deep red.
