Marmoucha Lattice Plain — Ivory Geometry
Marmoucha Lattice Plain — Ivory Geometry
Marmoucha Lattice Plain — Ivory Geometry (250 × 150 cm)
A refined Marmoucha weaving from the High Atlas, its ivory field traced with a minimalist charcoal lattice. The simplicity of line belies the technical mastery of knot and balance—the sacred diamond of Amazigh symbology rendered with quiet restraint and enduring elegance.
Weave & Touch
Hand-knotted in soft, lanolin-rich Atlas wool using the Marmoucha asymmetric knot. The surface exhibits a plush, luminous pile with a gentle sheen, offering both warmth and a sculptural tactility. Each diamond intersection is slightly raised, a signature of the hand process and regional precision.
