Made in the Safi weaving tradition from soft, mid-weight cotton, this bedcover is organised in distinct bands. Three large lozenges, each outlined in sand-toned tufting and nested around concentric ochre, taupe, and umber squares, form the principal register across the lower field. Rounded discs in ochre and deep brown are distributed around them, while a sequence of fine horizontal bars and a narrow taupe border band rise toward the head of the bed, where a second row of smaller lozenges completes the composition.

The contrast between the flat, matte cotton ground and the dense, raised tufting of the motifs gives the piece a tactile, sculptural quality that photographs cannot fully convey. Smaller lozenge panels at the side edges and hand-tied tassels at the corners give the bedcover a finished, resolved perimeter.

Warm in palette yet disciplined in layout, the bedcover suits contemporary and traditional interiors alike, working as a light textile layer or as the central statement of a calm bedroom scheme. Matching pillow covers repeat the lozenge and vertical bar vocabulary.
