Collection: Henbel

A collection of heritage Moroccan henbels, brought together by Atelier des Atlas for their distinctive compositions, woven detail, and enduring textile character.

Bands of colour, intricate geometry, and richly worked surfaces reveal the variety within this weaving tradition. Some pieces feature sequins, decorative tufts, or fringed finishes; others draw their presence from the rhythm of the weave alone.

Presented together, these textiles offer a dialogue between regional weaving vocabularies and individual expression. Each henbel is described separately, with its own materials, construction, dimensions, and provenance.

A long patterned rug with fringe is draped over a metal hanging rod inside a beige stone room with arched niches and tiled floor.
