This large-format composition unfolds across an expansive natural ivory field, punctuated by concentrated geometric emblems placed near the corners and along peripheral axes. The central area remains intentionally open, allowing space itself to function as a compositional element.

The motifs appear as angular medallions and segmented chains rendered in deep burgundy, ochre, and muted gold, forming a restrained chromatic constellation. Rather than filling the field, these elements act as guardians of the perimeter, framing the textile through symbolic presence.

Woven within the Ait Zayane tradition of the Middle Atlas, the rug balances graphic clarity with wool softness. The pile reads as medium in height, offering a stable, even surface that privileges longevity and daily use.
