Four stepped medallions run down a coral-red field framed on all four sides by black-and-cream checks. The 300 × 150 cm Boujaad runner shifts from deeper brick red at one end to lighter salmon tones toward the long red fringe.

Provenance & Craft

From Atelier des Atlas, this handwoven Amazigh runner has a textured wool pile. Narrow red woven bands sit beyond the checked border at both short ends. At the near end, a thin cream line marks the transition from the woven band to the red fringe.

Design Vocabulary

The medallions share stepped outlines but vary in scale and interior detail. The uppermost holds a pale vertical bar on black, while the second encloses three small black lozenges. Farther down, navy and sage green fill a medallion accented by two bright yellow marks. The final medallion opens onto the coral ground around a small two-tone lozenge.
