Boujaad Kilim Glyph Bands — Saffron Red Ledger
Boujaad Kilim Glyph Bands — Saffron Red Ledger
Boujaad Kilim Glyph Bands — Saffron Red Ledger (230 × 130 cm)
A refined Boujaad flatweave from the Middle Atlas, organized in horizontal registers of Amazigh glyphs—crossed lozenges, chevrons, triangular “mountain” stacks, and seed clusters—across a deep saffron-red ground. Twin feathered guard lines traverse the field, reading like a woven manuscript of protection and passage.
Weave & Touch
Hand-loomed kilim with a notably velvety handle achieved through tightly beaten wefts. Select motifs are brocaded for crisp color articulation. Supple, lightweight, and ideal on floors or as a wall hanging.
