Stripes of violet, green, charcoal, cream, and orange sweep inward from both sides of this 250 × 150 cm Boujaad wool rug. The bands narrow into a long central point before opening onto a vivid magenta field dotted with small geometric motifs.

Provenance & Craft

From Atelier des Atlas, this handwoven Amazigh rug has a textured wool pile. Cream bands frame both short ends, with fine cream fringe visible along the end in the foreground.

Design Vocabulary

Three cream shapes with pointed bases mark the transition from the striped field to the magenta ground. The central shape encloses a violet triangle, while the one to its right holds a dark lozenge. Below them, lime-green crosses, small triangles, and black-and-cream block motifs are spaced across the pink pile.
