Zemmour Kilim — Crimson Caravan Bands II
Zemmour Kilim — Crimson Caravan Bands II
Zemmour Kilim — Crimson Caravan Bands II (240 × 140 cm)
A luminous Zemmour flatweave from the Zaer plateau: a saturated crimson ground articulated by rhythmic caravan bands in saffron, ebony, and ivory. Brocaded cartouches—zigzag spines and ladder lozenges—punctuate the field, encoding protection, passage, and prosperity.
Weave & Touch
Handwoven kilim in tightly beaten Atlas wool with supplementary brocade for raised motifs. The fabric is supple yet durable with a naturally reversible handle—equally suited to floor use or as a dramatic wall hanging.
