Atelier des Atlas is more than a rug house — it is a cultural atelier where time, tradition, and soul are woven together.

Born in Khenifra, in the heart of Morocco’s Middle Atlas, our story begins where the threads of heritage are still alive — passed hand to hand, mother to daughter, tribe to tribe.

Our founder, the first woman to open a certified rug atelier in the official Khenifra market, carries the legacy of Amazigh artisans with the mind of a scholar and the soul of a storyteller. With academic precision and ancestral reverence, she documents, curates, and reinterprets the sacred language of wool.

Our atelier sits at the heart of the Middle Atlas — where the land meets legend. In 2025, we begin building Riad Ddunit, our cultural sanctuary in Marrakech, where guests will live among our textiles and the history they carry.

“Atelier des Atlas” is a tribute to the mythic mountain range that shelters the last master weavers of Morocco. The word Atelier invokes craftsmanship, patience, and artistry. Together, they form a sacred space — where each rug is both archive and artwork.
