These terms govern all transactions, communications, and services provided by Atelier des Atlas. By placing an order or initiating a project with us, you agree to the following terms.

1. Custom Orders

All custom rugs and embroidered textiles are made to order and crafted by hand. Once a deposit is received and production begins, no changes, cancellations, or refunds will be accepted. Estimated timelines are provided but may shift slightly due to seasonal workload or artisan availability.

2. Payment Terms

Payments may be made via bank transfer, Western Union, MoneyGram, or other mutually agreed methods. Orders are considered confirmed only after payment is received. We reserve the right to request full or partial prepayment depending on the scope of the project.

3. Shipping & Risk

We coordinate global shipping with trusted couriers and provide tracking information upon dispatch. Atelier des Atlas is not responsible for delays caused by customs, border control, or courier disruptions. Risk of loss passes to the client once the item is handed to the carrier.

4. Returns & Refunds

Custom-made pieces are final sale. Ready-to-ship items may be returned within 7 days of receipt if unused, with prior written approval. Refunds are issued only after we inspect the returned piece and confirm its condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

5. Product Variations

Our rugs and textiles are handcrafted using traditional methods. Natural variations in color, weave, texture, and measurement are part of the art form and not considered defects. We provide detailed photos and specifications for each piece to set clear expectations.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including designs, descriptions, and imagery — is the property of Atelier des Atlas and may not be reproduced without written consent. Custom designs developed in collaboration with our studio remain exclusive and protected.

7. Studio Communication

Atelier des Atlas maintains client communication primarily via email and WhatsApp. Business hours are observed Monday to Friday. Response times may vary based on studio workflow or artisan travel to remote regions.
