Our Craft
A Sacred Art, Passed Hand to Hand
From the first carded wool to the final fringe, every Atelier des Atlas rug is a prayer woven into form. Our craft honors the ancestral intelligence of the Amazigh and elevates it into timeless design.

“To weave is to whisper to time. Our rugs do not shout trends — they echo truth.”
Rooted in Ritual: The Atlas Weaving Cycle
Each rug begins with the shearing of sheep from the Middle Atlas. The wool is washed using spring water and sun-dried on terracotta roofs. We spin and card it by hand, dye it in botanicals, and weave it on traditional vertical looms—never rushed, never cut short. The result is not a product—it’s a transmission.
