Presented by Atelier des Atlas, this Aït Sgougou (Beni Mrirt) wool rug measures 300 × 200 cm. Its olive pile surface provides a restrained ground for an irregular network of darker lines.

Design Vocabulary

Fine lines descend, diverge, and meet across the field. Some form broad angular passages; others follow a softer, winding course. The composition has the openness of a landscape drawing, with texture and shifting light giving the olive surface additional depth. The visible lower edge has a neat, fringe-free finish.
