Aït Zayane (Kubba) Sun-Spine Runner — Red Field with Talismanic Crowns
Aït Zayane (Kubba) Sun-Spine Runner — Red Field with Talismanic Crowns
Aït Zayane (Kubba) Sun-Spine Runner — Red Field with Talismanic Crowns (220 × 85 cm)
From the Aït Zayane – Kubba lineage, this graphic runner stages a saturated red field framed by inky guard edges and organized around a vertical zigzag “sun-spine” in saffron and amber. A procession of small jewel rosettes punctuates the axis, while white amulet “crowns” appear at head and foot—an unmistakable Middle Atlas vocabulary distilled into a ceremonial format.
Weave & Touch
Hand-knotted wool pile on a sturdy foundation. Dense, resilient handle with soft, velvety tufts; subtle abrash enriches the chromatic depth of the red field.
