Atlas Strata — Boujaad Moubra Kilim

Atlas Strata — Boujaad Moubra Kilim

Atlas Strata — Boujaad Moubra Kilim (140 × 240 cm)

Graphic and durable, this Boujaad flatweave layers striated bands—crimson, coal black, slate grey and indigo—punctuated by warding crosses and wave motifs. Handwoven in the Middle Atlas in the traditional moubra technique (flatweave in wool with natural plant-fiber accents), it delivers crisp pattern with a low, door-clearing profile.

Glyph Reading

Repeating X crosses protect and stabilize; wave lines evoke movement and water; serrated band edges act as thresholds—organizing energy along the length of the rug.
