Dark marks gather and disperse across the ivory surface of this Azilal wool rug. Dense, wavering lines near one end give way to scattered dashes and longer vertical forms, creating a composition that changes as the eye travels along it.

Provenance & Craft

Selected by Atelier des Atlas, this wool rug measures 250 × 150 cm. Its textured pile softens the edges of the fine dark pattern.

Design Vocabulary

Short strokes, dotted areas, narrow zigzags, and elongated lines are arranged in loosely defined bands. The contrast between densely marked and open ivory sections gives the rug its rhythm. Short fringe is visible at one end.
