Womb in Bloom is a radiant Azilal creation, handwoven to celebrate one of the most sacred transitions in life: the beginning of motherhood. Its symbolic motifs tell the story of a woman’s inner transformation, echoed through the lines and glyphs that converge at the center of the composition—emblematic of fertility, unity, and rebirth.
The rug’s vibrant pink palette is intentionally chosen to express softness, intimacy, and protection. Hand-dyed wool fibers form abstracted female figures, gestational forms, and womb-like lozenges that appear to pulse with meaning. Each glyph is rooted in Amazigh cosmology, where weaving is often a rite passed from mother to daughter—a lineage of encoded wisdom.
