Ivory lines cross a deep black wool field, forming an open column of diamonds at the centre of this Beni Ourain rug. Denser, more irregular lines gather along the sides, giving the composition a striking change of pace.

Provenance & Craft

Selected by Atelier des Atlas, this wool rug measures 250 × 150 cm. Its pile gives the contrasting lines a softly textured edge.

Design Vocabulary

A broad diamond network anchors the centre. Narrower crossings frame it on both sides, while zigzag rows mark the top and bottom. Ivory fringe is visible at each end.
