Boucherouite Chromatic Strata — Upcycled Rag Pile
Boucherouite Chromatic Strata — Upcycled Rag Pile
Boucherouite Chromatic Strata — Upcycled Rag Pile (237 × 163 cm)
A jubilant Boucherouite from the Moroccan plains: cascading horizontal bands of teal, fuchsia, indigo, saffron, ivory, and sea-glass tones form a tactile, painterly field. Each strip of cloth is hand-tied into the warp, transforming surplus textiles into a shaggy, light-catching topography.
Weave & Touch
Traditional hand-tied rag pile on a sturdy cotton warp. The upcycled weft—cotton and mixed fibers—creates a plush, feathery surface with joyful movement. High tactile appeal; resilient and forgiving for everyday living.
