Lengthwise bands of cobalt blue, rose pink, pale sage, charcoal, and marigold give this 300 × 130 cm Boujaad wool runner its structure. Near the middle, the bands bend into a series of sharp zigzags before opening into larger fields of color toward the fringe.

Provenance & Craft

From Atelier des Atlas, this handwoven Amazigh runner has a textured wool pile framed by narrow cream edges. At the near short end, a cream woven band finishes in long braided tassels with loose tips.

Design Vocabulary

At the far end, a fine cream line traces an open lozenge on cobalt, alongside solid gray and marigold lozenges in neighboring bands. Below the central zigzags, a brown lozenge anchors a marigold panel, while a blue-outlined diamond and a loose blue zigzag mark the broad pink field near the fringe.
