Boujaad Kilim Runner — Earth Loom
Boujaad Kilim Runner — Earth Loom
Boujaad Kilim Runner — Earth Loom (170 × 80 cm)
An earth-toned Boujaad flat-weave from the Middle Atlas, where a warm terracotta-brown ground becomes the canvas for glyphic constellations: zigzags, stepped lozenges, combs, crosses, and protective talismans woven in orange, violet, coral, ivory, and indigo. Each register reads as a woven manuscript—heritage motifs arrayed in rhythmic procession.
Weave & Touch
Handwoven kilim runner employing the weft-faced tapestry technique for a slim, flexible body. The surface is finished with a suede-like handle, giving a warm and tactile feel underfoot. Natural wool tones enhanced with subtle dyes bring depth to the chromatic vocabulary of the piece.
