Boujaad Kilim Runner — Turquoise Caravan
Boujaad Kilim Runner — Turquoise Caravan
Boujaad Kilim Runner — Turquoise Caravan (170 × 80 cm)
Graphic Boujaad flat-weave from the Middle Atlas: a luminous turquoise field banded by stepped border meanders and punctuated with Amazigh glyphs—crosses, combs, lozenges, chevrons, and talismanic “gate” signs—arranged in rhythmic registers. The runner format reads like a portable textile archive, equal parts heritage and contemporary color play.
Weave & Touch
Handwoven kilim (flat-weave) using tightly beaten weft-face technique for a slim, pliant handle and a suede-soft handfeel. Color is achieved with a mix of natural and low-impact synthetic dyes typical of Boujaad workshops, delivering crisp motifs and durable saturation.
