Rhythms of the Atlas is a Boujaad rug from the Western Middle Atlas. Its ivory field is crossed by uneven horizontal stripes in violet, green, black and muted earth tones.

Design Vocabulary

The stripes vary in width and length: fine lines alternate with broader bands, including a prominent violet passage and a black band near the fringed edge. Their loose spacing allows the ivory ground to remain visible between colors. The current photograph shows a textured pile surface and pale tasselled fringe.

Care

Vacuum gently without a beater bar, rotate periodically for even wear, and consult a rug specialist for deep cleaning.
