Boujaad–Zanafi Color Study — Saffron, Olive & Dusk

Boujaad–Zanafi Color Study — Saffron, Olive & Dusk

Boujaad–Zanafi Color Study — Saffron, Olive & Dusk (250 × 150 cm)

A restrained Boujaad–Zanafi abstraction: three painterly color fields—sunlit saffron, olive earth, and a heathered dusk-violet block—float on a soft ivory ground. Feathered edges recall brushwork; the minimalist composition reads modern yet remains unmistakably Amazigh.

Weave & Touch

Traditional flat-weave (hanbel / kilim) with interlocked tapestry joins to build the geometric blocks. The softened, “brushed” margins are achieved by alternating weft picks for a subtle gradient. Handle is firm yet supple and largely reversible—ideal for dining rooms and high-traffic living spaces.
