Boujaad–Zanafi Fusion Kilim — Ivory Wool with Multicolor Amazigh Glyphs
Boujaad–Zanafi Fusion Kilim — Ivory Wool with Multicolor Amazigh Glyphs (250 × 150 cm)
A rare Boujaad–Zanafi fusion piece woven in fine ivory wool, patterned with an exuberant spectrum of Amazigh glyphs, lozenges, and zigzags. Bold hues of carmine, indigo, emerald, fuchsia, and saffron animate the linear composition, creating a vibrant cosmogram of protection and fertility across the field.
Weave & Touch
Flatwoven with knotted insertions in a technique characteristic of zanafi kilims yet infused with Boujaad’s chromatic daring. The surface alternates between flat and relief textures, balancing decorative clarity with subtle tactility.
