Boujaad–Zanafi Monochrome Atlas Glyphs — Ivory & Charcoal
Boujaad–Zanafi Monochrome Atlas Glyphs — Ivory & Charcoal
Boujaad–Zanafi Monochrome Atlas Glyphs — Ivory & Charcoal (250 × 150 cm)
A Middle Atlas Boujaad workshop rendering the Zanafi hanbel idiom in a rigorously pared palette: an undyed ivory field sequenced with charcoal Amazigh signs—lozenges, chevrons, cross-stars, arrowheads, and grid marks—arrayed in quiet rows. Editorial, minimal, and unmistakably tribal.
Weave & Touch
Traditional flat-weave (kilim/hanbel) ground with supplementary-weft brocade / over-stitch for the motifs. Firm yet supple handle, largely reversible, with a discreet mid-loom join at center—true to wide-loom practice.
