Boujaad–Zanafi Serrated-Guard Kilim — Indigo Strata with Camel Borders
Boujaad–Zanafi Serrated-Guard Kilim — Indigo Strata with Camel Borders
Boujaad–Zanafi Serrated-Guard Kilim — Indigo Strata with Camel Borders (240 × 140 cm)
A Middle Atlas Boujaad workshop executing the classic Zanafi hanbel technique: a finely striated indigo–ivory field framed by bold camel-brown serrated “mountain” guards. End bands and a subtle loom finish complete a composition that is graphic, durable, and unmistakably Amazigh.
Weave & Touch
Traditional flat-weave (kilim/hanbel) ground with supplementary-weft brocade / over-stitch to articulate the serrations and banding. Firm yet supple handle and largely reversible—ideal under dining tables and in high-traffic salons.
