Boujaad–Zanafi Signal Peaks — Indigo & Cinnabar on Sand

Boujaad–Zanafi Signal Peaks — Indigo & Cinnabar on Sand

Boujaad–Zanafi Signal Peaks — Indigo & Cinnabar on Sand (250 × 130 cm)

A Middle Atlas Boujaad workshop renders the Zanafi hanbel in a bold, modernist composition: indigo and cinnabar color fields meet across a serrated axial divide on an undyed sand ground. Terminal bands in dotted stitchwork and soft tassels bookend the piece—graphic, disciplined, unmistakably Amazigh.

Weave & Touch

Traditional flat-weave (kilim/hanbel) with interlocked tapestry color changes for the crisp planes and saw-tooth edge; embroidered end bands. The handle is firm yet supple and largely reversible—ideal under dining tables and in high-traffic salons.
