Stitched Balance is a handwoven Beni Ourain rug featuring a graphic checkerboard composition in black and ivory. Its visual structure is bold yet grounded, echoing the binary foundations of Amazigh symbolism—order and chaos, light and dark, structure and flow.
This rug departs from the more glyph-based Amazigh iconography, embracing instead the compositional freedom of the weaver. Each square block—alternating in tonal rhythm—is woven from naturally dyed wool with a lush, soft texture that provides both comfort and visual rhythm.
These pieces often embody the weaver’s personal expression, making each execution slightly unique. Ideal for interiors in need of visual contrast and grounded warmth.
