Chromatic Columns — Beni Mrirt Grid with Mint Traverse

Chromatic Columns — Beni Mrirt Grid with Mint Traverse

Chromatic Columns — Beni Mrirt Grid with Mint Traverse (160 × 230 cm, 2025)

A contemporary Beni Mrirt in a dense, velvety pile. Deep teal field with oxblood verticals forms a columnar grid, interrupted by a mint-green traverse that reads as a luminous belt. Flatweave aprons and natural fringe complete the structure—graphic presence, plush underfoot.

Glyph Reading

The columnar reticulation parcels the field into ordered cells—grounding and measure. The mint band acts as a threshold line (bar of passage): prosperity, continuity, and safe crossing from one zone to the next. Energetically, the rug stabilizes the room while introducing a decisive horizontal flow of light.
