Dune Geometry – Zanafi Flatweave in Golden Ochre
Dune Geometry – Zanafi Flatweave in Golden Ochre
Dune Geometry is a Zanafi flatweave that captures the fierce stillness of sun-scorched plateaus. Woven in sun-baked ochre and framed by jagged mountain motifs, it evokes the topographic memory of Morocco’s golden interior—sacred lands marked by wind, silence, and salt routes.
The handwoven texture pulses with subtle tonal shifts, as if echoing mirage waves and dune shadows. Each diagonal line—stitched in rhythmic counterpoint—draws on the oral mapping of space, migration, and memory in the Zanafi tradition. Fringes fall like time-worn tassels on a nomad’s cloak.
Dune Geometry speaks to homes rooted in ritual and reverence. A timeless companion to stone, linen, and spaces of elemental clarity.
