Ivory Axis — Beni Ourain Ribbed Branches

Ivory Axis — Beni Ourain Ribbed Branches

Ivory Axis — Beni Ourain Ribbed Branches (2025)

A contemporary Beni Ourain in undyed ivory wool with inky charcoal lines. The composition is an open field organized by a diagonal axis from which fine “rib” branches radiate—minimal, architectural, and soft underfoot. Short flatweave aprons and natural fringe finish the piece with classic High Atlas restraint.

Glyph Reading

The diagonal axis recall establishes directionality and wayfinding; the repeating branch ribs echo the Amazigh bone/fishbone family—signals of protection, continuity, and good passage. Energetically, the form channels flow across a room, inviting movement and clarity while keeping the field open for calm.
