Madder Bands — Zemmour Guard-Stripe Kilim

Madder Bands — Zemmour Guard-Stripe Kilim

Madder Bands — Zemmour Guard-Stripe Kilim (___ × ___ cm)

Classic Zemmour flatweave from the Middle Atlas (Khemisset–Rabat corridor): a saturated madder-red field articulated by horizontal guard stripes, chevrons and talisman crosses in ivory, charcoal, saffron and ember. Low profile, door-clearing, and built for high-traffic performance while preserving artisanal tactility.

Glyph Reading

Crosses and hooked lozenges encode baraka (blessing) and protection; chevrons and zigzags guide movement and reinforce boundaries. Energetically, the red ground warms and energizes a room while the banding keeps the flow ordered.
