Sculpted Earth is a Marmoucha rug from the Northern Middle Atlas. Raised ivory areas meet darker, lower sections in an asymmetrical composition of blocks and lines.

Design Vocabulary

Broad pale shapes are divided by fine black diagonals and short linear breaks. Dark rectangular passages appear along one side, while the ivory surface changes height across the field. A narrow patterned band and pale tasselled fringe finish the near edge in the current photograph.

Vacuum gently without a beater bar, rotate periodically for even wear, and consult a rug specialist for deep cleaning.
