Sand Gate — Beni Mrirt Concentric Thresholds
Sand Gate — Beni Mrirt Concentric Thresholds
Sand Gate — Beni Mrirt Concentric Thresholds (280 × 360 cm)
A large-format Beni Mrirt in undyed sand wool, drawn with layered taupe lines that step inward to a calm central field. Plush, even pile with flatweave aprons and natural fringe. Quietly architectural; made for generous living spaces.
Glyph Reading
The rectilinear, nested thresholds form a procession of gates—an Amazigh logic of passage, memory, and return. Parallel bands act as axis recall, measuring the field like time-markers. Energetically, the rug grounds a room and invites centered focus, drawing the eye toward stillness at the core.
