Stone Garden — Glaouia Talisman Bands
Stone Garden — Glaouia Talisman Bands
Stone Garden — Glaouia Talisman Bands (250 × 300 cm)
Monumental Glaouia kilim from the Sirwa/Taznakht corridor: a soft stone-grey field orchestrated into horizontal bands of Amazigh talismans, framed by an ember–orange square rosette border. Micro lozenges, eye/boat motifs, and checker rosettes animate the surface with quiet cadence. Low-profile, corridor-to-living-room ready.
Glyph Reading
The lozenge constellations encode continuity and protection; eye/boat registers ensure safe passage. The ember border operates as a protective threshold, containing the field’s movement. Energetically, the piece grounds a large room with calm neutrality while delivering measured rhythm and optimistic sparks of color.
