Seasonal Glyphs – Aït Zayne’s Acrylic Wool Tableau

Seasonal Glyphs – Aït Zayne’s Acrylic Wool Tableau

Seasonal Glyphs is a strikingly light, graphic rug—woven in the Aït Zayne region—designed as a celebration of seasonal transformation. Crafted in acrylic wool, it merges Amazigh visual codes with modern materiality. The rug is built on the ancient concept of cyclical change, captured here through four rhythmic fields of color and motif.

Its structure is clean and light, with vivid color blocks and tribal iconography that speak of cosmic balance and temporal rhythm. The rug is woven with acrylic “kubba” wool—making it exceptionally soft, durable, and ideal for contemporary spaces seeking ease, symbolism, and story.
