Provenance & Craft

From Atelier des Atlas, this 250 × 150 cm Boujaad rug has a textured wool pile. Ivory passages and fine dark lines interrupt its vivid colour, while short fringe finishes the photographed lower end.

Design Vocabulary

The upper section is composed of compact blocks and stripes. Below it, the lines loosen and bend, creating a sense of movement through the field. Shifts in colour and density make each part of the composition distinct.
