Ivory Echo – Fusion Weave from Aït Zyane & Beni Mrirt
Ivory Echo – Fusion Weave from Aït Zyane & Beni Mrirt
"Ivory Echo" is a rare convergence of two regional lineages—an artistic dialogue between the geometric linearity of the Aït Zyane kilim and the dense plush of Beni Mrirt pile weaving.
This handwoven rug features a luminous ivory palette punctuated by flat abstract channels—echoing ancient paving motifs passed through oral design memory. The outer grid-like inlays recall the architectural sensibility of Zayan kilims, while the central plush texture and creamy tones stem from the masterful weaving traditions of the Middle Atlas’ Beni Mrirt region.
This rug feels both ancient and contemporary: a quiet masterpiece that speaks of lineage, restraint, and tactile elegance. Custom sizing and tonal adjustments are available upon request, offering the opportunity to tailor this sacred geometry to your home.
