Zanafi–Boujaad Majorelle Lattice

Zanafi–Boujaad Majorelle Lattice

Zanafi–Boujaad Majorelle Lattice (250 × 150 cm)

A saturated Majorelle blue field framed by ivory, with a continuous lozenge network articulated in twisted soumak cords—an elevated reading of the Zanafi hanbel language executed by Boujaad artisans. Serrated “mountain” borders and dotted end bands lend ceremonial edge to a resolutely modern composition.

Weave & Touch

Traditional flat-weave (kilim/hanbel) with interlocked tapestry for the cobalt ground and raised soumak lines forming the diamond lattice. Handle is firm yet supple with a reversible tendency—one face shows slightly raised cords, the reverse reads flatter—making it excellent for living rooms and dining settings.
