Celestial Weft is a Zanafi flatweave suspended between earth and ether. Its diamond grid, rendered in braided white lines, pulses through a field of hand-dyed violets, magentas, and storm-blues—echoing desert twilight, sacred dusk, and the veiled boundaries between realms.
This composition is at once architectural and celestial. The serrated motifs along the rug’s edges mirror mountain crests, while the woven hues evoke the cosmos viewed through tribal memory—stars buried in wool, prayers encoded in line. The flatweave base retains the Zanafi clan’s tactile tension, its braided technique a testament to ancestral mastery.
